1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse GST with engine code P0170

Hello, I have a 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse GST, I found this code P0170 and my car the symptoms excess of fuel consumption and and there are too many Symptoms but this is the main symptom excess of fuel consumption what does that mean is there a sensor malfunctioning

This code means the exhaust is to rich on bank 1. it's possible that either the O2 sensors are sending the wrong info or the mass air flow sensor is causing the problem. Without knowing engine size this is about all the info I can give you for this
