P0340 Nissan - primera

Question

I have a fail on P0340 Nissan - Camshaft Position Sensor.

I checked the Nissan primera P12 manual, in this manual I found this code (P0340), but in your page this code don't apply for Nissan primera 2003 QR20 Motor.

I need know if this code is correct for Nissan Primera 2003 - Camshaft Position Sensor.

Another cuestion is the camshaft position sensor is same to the crankshaft position sensor, can i use any sensor in both places?

Hi there,

This is a generic code for the OBDII and is for the cam position sensor on any vehicle made after '96. The cam and crank sensors are the same on these and you can use either, but make sure to replace the one in the cam sensor position since that's the one you have a code for.
