will the anti theft system stop a 1999 nissan altima not to start, if it started before once the motor was installed? just had a motor installed and the mechanic says that the car was starting and now the car will not turn over. is this possible? somebody please help!!!!!!

yes the anti theft system will stop the car from starting, if you have an different key try that. 

if that does not help disconnect the battery wait an hour and try it again. you might need to reprogram the remote 

if the key has a chip that may need to be programmed also (might need a auto locksmith)
