b1600 preventing oem remote starter from starting, pats anti theft system issue

Question

I need help with code B1600 that is preventing the Remote Starter of my Ford Taurus 2001 SE 3.0Ltr. It attempts to start 4 times but doesn't, when the key is inserted and turned once (not all the way) it starts. B1600 says something about Transponder chip signal not coming through. Please suggest if someone can guide through this issue as there's no information online on it, and being old vehicle I don't want to spend on it again.
