P0441 Toyota - corolla 2002 idles problem after fill up gas

2002 corolla has code#p0441, every time after i fill up gas ,it has idles problem sometime stall.why? thank you.

Hi there,

This code is for incorrect purge flow from the evap system. When you fill the tank the fuel vapors go into the charcoal canister. When the engine is running at certain speeds the purge control valve opens and allows the fuel vapors into the engine. It purges them from the canister. When you have issues after filling up it means the purge valve is open and the vapors are going into the intake manifold and flooding the engine. This is why you get hard starting after.
