P0340 Subaru -

Question

my 03 WRX Shows p0340 code, it idles like it has misfire and has no spark on 1 & 4 but shows no misfire code. I replaced cam positioning sensor and crank positioning sensor. I cleaned the air/fuel mix valve. I also tried using a different wiring harness with no change. HELP!

Hi there,

This usually means the timing belt has jumped time and you get the cam sensor code.

This will also cause rough running without misfire codes. I would check the timing, it's likely off.
