Got a 98 Ford escort wagon.

Engine light on. Did a diagnostic on it. came back showing a PO 304. Checked spark plug wires which r fairly new. wiggled them around a bit. engine isn't racing like it was before playing with wires. Any other ideas....TIA

P0304 Misfire number 4 cylinder

You may want to use another known good ignitiion coil.
