I need to pass an emissions test. I need to clear this code. What do I look at first? I've already checked the gas cap.
Do I need to erase the codes and try fresh, or will the code clear itself if I find the issue and repair it?

Hi there,

This code will eventually clear itself. The car has to go through the drive cycles to run it's own testing. If you clear it, then all the other monitors will also have to run. Check and make sure the vent control valve is working because this could also cause the gross evap leak code.
