why does the car work fine after deleting the code

Question

the car will drive perfectly fine after deleting the codes then we go back into limp mode after driving it for a while. What would be the cuase of the problem.

P0730 Incorrect gear ratio

When you clear the code you reset the transmsission strategy until it relearns . Some of the causes for this is low transmission fluid , have the fluid level check, Another cause is the transmission speed sensor  or the VSS (vehicle speed sensor) , If there is any other transmission code condition it can be just a transmission solenoid.
