P0523 DODGE - Will this code prevent the vehicle from starting?

I have a 2003 Wrangler that will not start and is showing a P0523 code: "Engine Oil Pressure Sensor Switch/Circuit High Input".  Will this code prevent the jeep from starting?

This is a problem with the oil sending unit. It can prevent starting if the engine is low on oil or if the sensor is bad.
