Will this prevent vehicle from starting?

Vehicle tries to crack but acts like not getting fuel.

Hi there,

This can cause a no start. the code is basically stating there isn't any communication with the PCM. This will prevent both spark and fuel injector pulse. This situation can happen with a bad cam or crank sensor and several other components. You really need a high speed scan tool to know where to start looking for the issue.
