could bad plug wires cause po328 [knock sensor] to show code?

My nissan xterra is reading [2] codes. po328 [knck sensor] and po430 [catayst system]
I touched the end of a plug wire going to the dsitributor and get a big shock. On the others, i do not. Could bad plug wires cause these codes?

if you have not serviced the spark plugs, replace them along with the wires and cap and rotor on the distributor.

But usually if you dont have other codes with the knock sensor the knock sensor is most likely bad.

a misfire can cause a p0430 that is why I say that.
