P0171 Scion -

Question

I installed an cold air intake in my 06 Scion. After driving 50 mile I have code po 171 . Before that my engine light was not off everything was fine. Whats happening.

False air can cause this code condition,false air is when air is not meter and gets past the MAF (mass airflow), check for false air that gets past the MAF especially at the connection. You should also do a MAF air cleaning when the airfilter are transported a fire retardant is applied to the filter so clean the air filter out and install back dry.
