Question

2003 silverado 1500 4.8 4wd I have engine lights P1518,P0452,P0446,P0174,P0453. I am a female who will be trouble shooting myself. Can you please let me know what I should look at first?

P1518 Throttle Actuator control module performance

P0452 FTP (Fuel tank pressure ) sensor circuit

P0453 Evaporative emission control system pressure sensor intermittent

P0446 Evaporative emission control system vent control circuit malfunction

P0174 Fuel trim too lean Bank 2

Trouble shoot P0174 First. Lean fuel trim are usually vacuum leaks that gets past the MAF (mass air flow) which interrupts the fuel trim balance.. Inspect the Purge control solenoid for properly seated and not creating a false air condition. Doing the lean condition may be related to the P1518 which can affect its performance. As for P0452 and P0453 This sensor is on the fuel pump module. The FTP sensor will require a replacement.
