on my 2008 gmc 1500 sierra I can cancel code out with my code reader n drive truck again sometimes for half hour next time 2 hours n it seems if road conditions r wet it will come on sooner n when it happens my alarm comes n my oil psi drops as soon as I shut of engine n restart its good for 20 minutes again

P0521 Engine oil pressure (EOP) sensor performance

With this code condition check the oil level and change the oil filter and use the proper oil filter, The condition for setting this code is the predicted and the actual pressure differ by it being either low by 6.8 psi or high by 7.3 psi.Beside replacing the EOP do a oil pressure test also
