My Xtreme never had a EGR on its 2.2 liter. so why is it throwing code PO404 and PO405?

Vehicle: 2000 Chevy S-10 Xtreme 2.2

2000 chevy S-10 2.2L does not use those codes. Try to use a different OBD-II reader
