P1780 Transmission control switch out of self test range

This is when a KOER (key on engine running) test was performed and the overdrive switch was not cycled ,or it was cycled and the is non operational. This is not the cause of the van not starting till 10 minutes later. When you get this condition , the engine must have a input for ignition to happen, there also has to be fuel.You need to trouble the basic, check for spark and fuel.
