I have code P1130 on a 1997 Nissan Truck XE King Cab 4x4 4 Cyl.

Question

I have been reading about code 1130 on a 1997 Nissan Pickup Truck and it states a swirl control valve, was just wondering if a vacuum leak could cause this code to come on?
Can I use ether to find the leak if one is present, or what should I do?
It has been stated that it is the swirl control valve but is it the valve or can it be a vacuum leak or something else it could be and how do i check the swirl control valve, and swirl control soleenoid?

The P1330 code means that the "Swirl Control Valve Control Solenoid" is not working properly. It's an electric code and more than likely the problem is the solenoid it self and not the valve.
