B1295 - Where would I look for common issues?

Question

This code showed up twice in history, but never threw a code MIL. Am I to assume I have a live short in the brake light circuit? Are there typical locations to check? Not noticing any issues or probs with cruise control, no fuses blown.

B1295 Battery power relay short to ground.
