Hi there,

The code is for the front A/F sensor bank one stuck lean. This will affect the fuel economy because it's a huge part of the fuel mix info the computer uses. Normally the sensor needs to be replaced to resolve the problem. However, you should also check for vacuum leaks and possible issues with the mass air flow sensor. The A/F sensor might be picking up another problem.
