Because these are solenoids The PCM may have also have been affected due to due to solenoid being open or grounded, which can damage the PCM driver for the solenoids, The codes you have are short circuit or opensIt is still possible to do just the valve body, To do so you will need to remove the transmission pan and the accumulator body to acces the main valve body control solenoids and just replace it. At this point you need to be extremely careful that the seperator plate does not sag and displace the check balls.
