2000 honda accord ex transmission slipping from 2nd gear to third

I have a 2000 Honda accord ex coupe. Don't have any issues with it except for the first few times it shifts from 2nd into 3rd it seems to almost stick in 2nd. But after it shift 3 or 4 times its usually fine. And it only happens under moderate acceleration. The only error code it reads is a transmission range sensor malfunction. Any help please.

With a transmission code especially with a transmission range sensor , yes you will experience harsh upshifting and harsh downshifting. IF ever the CK ENG LT and the D light comes on together it can revert the transmission to a back up mode.
