What does code P0170 mean on my 96 G20 that will barely idle or cuts off sometimes?

My daughter's G20 cuts off after cranking ( won't idle ) or going down the road.

P0170 Fuel trim lean bank 1

Means you are getting more air than fuel, What you need to check is the MAF (mass air flow) making sure the airflow duct that goes to the throttle body has no crack causing false air into the system, if that is good and secured fuel pressure needs to be tested. at idle the specs are 34 psi.
