i accidentaly hooked up the batter wrong polarity in my 1998 i 30 and tried to start it with the battery hooked up wrong the car ran fine prior to this now i am getting a code for the knock sensor and the cam sensor the both come back immedietly after clearing them after 1 crank have replaced the cam sensor still no start it blew the main fuse replaced that as well would this damage the eccs control modual

It can, but it would also open more than 1 fuse, You have a 65Amp fuse, 75Amp fuse, 30 Amp fuse, You may have another open fuse in the engine fuse jucntion box, so you need to inspect those, Even if you dont blow a fuse you tend to give the fuses a high resistance,a simple remove and install usually solves this. Without that cam sensor signal the vehicle will not start, Check and inspect your fuses,
