Recently I had to go through inspection and failed, results are as follows.

Check Engine Light On: PASS OBD Communications: Pass Overall Readiness Results: FAIL

Engine Misfire READY Catalytic Converters NOT READY A/C Refrigerant UNSUPPORTED
Fuel System READY Heated Catalytic Converters UNSUPPORTED Oxygen Sensors NOT READY
Comprehensive Component READY Evaporative System NOT READY Oxygen Sensors-heaters NOT READY
Secondary Air Injection UNSUPPORTED EGR Systems READY

OBD SYSTEM - DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES PRESENT:

This was done in New Jersey

Vehicle: 2000,Ford, Expedition,5.4 Liter

You just need to drive your Expedition more. You have to drive it on the freeway at speed over 60mph for a few minutes and streets at different speeds as well. Then after you drive it take it directly to the smog test facility.
