2002 Malibu failed smog check due to OBD system not ready to test. What does this mean?

Recent battery needed to be jumped to start vehicle.

Vehicle: 2002 Chevy Malibu 6 cylinder

If the battery died it reset the cars computer, you have to drive the car until all the monitors on the car have seen tested by the ECU. Drive it for a few days and go retake the smog check.
