2005 Nissan Maxima 3.5L SE, was wondering with the P0021 code will it also say timing over advance

Usually the code means that the timing solenoid are not working properly. This could be caused by dirty engine oil. You could try changing the oil and clearing the codes. You may have to change the engine oil a couple of times, before the problem gets fixed.
