WHAT DOES CODE PO456 MEAN

I HAVE 2006 TOYOTA COROLLA MADE IN CANADA WITH 95500 MILES. IT HAS A PO456 CODE AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON. WHAT DOES IT MEAN MECHANICALLY AND WHAT CAN BE DONE TO HAVE IT FIX.

This code means there is a leak in the evap system on the car. To repair you should have a smoke test performed to locate the leak. Then do the repair yourself if possible to save some money. With the Toyota's it may mean it needs a new charcoal canister. Before doing the smoke test, try a new gas cap, many times it will solve the issue.
