I have a Chrysler 300C and the check engine light comes on for code P0456 evaporation emission system leak detected very small leak how do I go about fixing or chasing down the problem and fixing it

There are several different causes for this code. We usually start with a new gas cap to see if that makes any difference. If not, then the best method of locating this very small leak is a smoke test. Smoke is blown into the evap system and then with a powerful light we look for leaks.
