Will replacing the TCC Solenoid in my 1998 Ford Taurus make code p1744 go away?

Car runs completely fine. I've had this code for a month now. I drained out the old fluid, replaced the filter and pan gasket, and filled with new mercon v fluid. Car shifts great, overdrive works.
