it could be a fuse for the O2 sensor or the wire may be damaged.

pulling a code, does not equal part. any shop that practices this, is not a shop you want to go to.
the best way to find a good repair shop in your area, is to call the repair shops and ask them, if they have the manufacturer scan tool for your vehicle make. if they have the factory scan tool for your vehicle, this lets you know, they are a shop that tries to stay up to date on equipment, knowledge and training for your vehicles type.
it also lets you know they are capable of accessing all the computers of your vehicle.
GM, Saturn, Saab, Isuzu is the Tech 2
Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Mazda, Jaguar, Land Rover is WDS or IDS

Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep is DRB 3, after 2004 is Starscan or Starmobile
Mercedes is Star Das
Nissan, Infiniti is Consult to 1996, Consult 2 to 2006 and Consult 3 to current
