engine does not go into gear

My 2005 isuzu nqr truck. Car has a problem with revving when in drive. It will rev when in neutral but once you put it in drive it cant rev.

How is the transmission fluid level and condition? You should start by checking the fluid. If the fluid is OK you should have a transmission specialist the the truck for you.
