Service engine soon light on?

My service engine soon light is always on but goes off after disconnecting battery terminal

When you disconnect the car battery it reset the system, but doesn't fix the problem. Next time the engine light comes ON you need to get the engine code. With the engine code you will be able to diagnose the problem. Any auto shop or auto parts will check the code free for you.
