The problem is fixed but check engine light stays on how do I shut it off? 2003 Nissan Pathfinder

Once the problem is fixed, you can use an OBDII scanner (Scan Tool) to clear the code. You can also disconnect the car battery for about 30 minutes to reset the system. If the engine light comes back ON, then the problem has not been fixed or you have another problem.
