What does fault code P0730 mean on a Mercedes C220D auto ?

The engine warning light has come on. I got it checked and it came up with code P0730. I got it cleared but the light has come back on again and is showing the same fault code. The car seems to intermitantly drop out of gear for a second or 2 then re-engage when driving.
