I took my 2001 tdi Golf to the mechanic, they replaced the coolant temp sensor cause of a leak. Immediately after I left, the Check Engine light came on with P0380. So I guess when they replaced it, they killed one of my glow plugs. Is that possible? And the other plugs aren't doing so hot either.

Is it possible that when they replaced the Coolant Temp Sensor, it messed up my glow plugs?

First step is to make sure they plugged the wiring harness back onto the coolant temp sensor, otherwise the glow plugs will come on ALL THE TIME and burn out. Next test the glow plugs with a voltmetter. Finally test the harness with a voltmeter.
