P0172 HYUNDAI -

Hi,

i have hyundai accent 2004 , the car start OK but has no pick up for example if i stop in the traffic and i want to move again its very difficult to pick up sometimes no pick up at all , and also when i fuel the tank in max the RPM would be not stable , the light engine is on i sent the the car to the mechanic and he checked by the computer and the code p0172 system too rich bank 1 and i have replace the oxygen sensor is slightly better but the problem arise again . i have also replace the spark plugs but still the same problem .

Hi there,

Normally when you have a mixture that is too rich, it's a leaking fuel injector or possibly some type of evap issue that is allowing the fuel vapors into the intake system which is unmetered.
