P0406 toyota corolla

the check engine light came on a couple days prior to the car dying. It died a few times the other day but restarted until going down the road it died for the last time now it wont start not even crank over and when I hooked up scanner I got P0406 Help!

This code is for an issue with the EGR system and will not prevent the engine from cranking. Basically the EGR valve isn't working properly so the sensor reports this and sets this code.
