P0108 MAP (manifold absolute pressure) sensor circuit high

P0406 EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) sensor A circuit high

These codes are for the EGR module the EGR and MAP are one unit, what monitors the EGR system is a MAP sensor built in one unit, Because the EGR is in a closed position and is non-operating it takes a CK ENG LT to tell you it has failed. The purpose of the EGR is to limit the amount of Nox that is produced and emitted into the atmosphere which is a contributor to air pollution.

This is the EGR system it houses a MAP and a EGR
