Do Codes P0190, P0171, P0174 mean replacment of fuel pump?

Question

2002 mercury cougar 2.5L, 113000 miles
Codes P0190, P0171, P0174
I'm leaning towards replacment of fuel pump
The car will start and drive for miles, then slows and stalls.
After a few minutes restart and drive home
changed fuel filter last service
The car falls outside the recall manufacture dates for pump replacement
What is the fuel pressure required at the fuel rail?

Hi there,

It's very possible the fuel pump is the issue. You are looking for the fuel pressure to be 39-55 psi. Anything less could cause both codes.
