Toyota Estima having fault code P1589. What is it?

The ECM memory should have been rest due to which the calibration of the accelerator pedal has been erased.

Use a scanning tool and calibrate deceleration sensor.

You can do the calibration by clicking Engine and ECT > > special function > > and then click "decleration 0 point calibration" while you do that make sure that your car IGN switch is "ON" and your gear shift is on "P"

Throttle body connection or accelerator pedal connection ,wiring issue ,

Check with Dealer for possible ECM reflash / reprogram to rectify this issue.
