Can the timing chain failure cause a DTC P0320

Question

Hi, I have a 97 explorer with a 4.0l v6 and today it stopped running. It's had a noise like a timing chain tensioner going bad and I had the timing chain replaced along with the tensioners(both)about 5500 miles ago and today the truck just stopped running it made a sound prior to quitting nothing is leaking from the motor or transmission but if I turn the key it doesn't turn over I just hooked up my obdII and got a pending DTC P0320 any info would be grateful
