Hey guys,

I've just replaced the valve cover gasket on a 2012 Peugot 308 1.6 turbo petrol and the car ran fine on the test drive for about 5 minutes. After putting the foot down it started losing power and felt like it was missing. It now has a rattle I think in the turbo on acceleration and gets very hot quickly.

I have scanned for codes and it has:

U1208- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input.

P0033- Turbocharger bypass valve control Circuit.

P1340- Camshaft Position Sensor 'A' Bank 1 Sensor 2.

P0238- Turbocharger boost Sensor A Circuit High.

Is there anything that could cause all 4 codes?
What have I missed? Any chance the turbo boost Pressure Sensor could be the cause?

Hoping I haven't caused any damage. Haven't driven it since but have had it running on and off while checking over things.

Any help would be MUCH appreciated. TIA!

Vehicle: 2012 Peugot 308 1.6L turbo petrol

My guess would be that maybe a wire harness is against something that it shouldn't be against, I.e. maybe the turbo or exhaust manifold, and melted and shorted a few sensor circuits. Hence your multiple codes.

The rattle in the turbo does not sound good, check the oil level to determine if you are burning oil.
