Will the sticky EGR or dirty EGR relates to the P0088 (Fuel Rail Pressure too High) in any way? AutoCodes

Hello All,

I am looking for all the possible causes for the DTC - P0088. In one of the forum, i read that "EGR mixer pipe dirtiness" could be the reason for this P0088. I dont understand how it can cause the fuel rail pressure too exceed the maximum threshold.

Can you please clarify me?
