After it was towed home I tried starting it wouldn't start but cranked for a out 2 seconds I then checked voltage at the battery and read 5 volts jumped it and read 13 volts tried starting it cranked for few seconds then wouldn't crank checked voltage again read 5 volts tried jumping again same result gave up. Next morning checked voltage and read 0 volts. Started looking for a short and found the 4 out of 5 bare wires going to the fan clutch. Taped wires and replaced battery and it cranks but won't run so I checked codes and found b1676, c1277, and u1900. I don't know what to check next. If anyone could help it would be appreciated. It's my daughter's car and she has 10 month old twin boys and needs her car big time and can't afford a real mechanic. Thank you.

I will check the crankshaft sensor and the camshaft sensor also. Thank you. Does anyone know what and where the "controller area network communication bus" is because u1900= controller area network communication bus "malfunction received malfunction"
