Why does the engine crank but not run?

Question

2006 Impala 3.9.
When I spray starter fluid in the intake, the engine runs real good but, the engine will stay running until I shut off the engine. Replaced TPS sensor and complete new throttle body.New fuel pump, also.new battery and cables and "complete tune up. Someone told me it might be the sensor on top of the fuel tank or, the sensor on the gas pedal!? All fuses and relays are good.
