I have a 04 Passat glx I just got. When I got it, it had codes p0300 p0301 and p0305. I replaced the fuel injectors, 1 & 5 spark plugs, spark plug wires and coil pack which seems to have fixed the issue and my CEL turned off. Thence week later, today on my way to work, my CEL came on and I got the codes ran at auto zone and it came up with p0300 again. I’m getting a light amount of smoke or steam from the 1-3 side of my engine (there is a slight gasket leak, however it’s not getting to the spark plugs). I need ideas as to what I should look into next, hopefully it not going to be too costly.

Hi there,

This code indicates a misfire on random cylinders. Here is a list of possible causes to help you narrow it down.

So I just found that my fuel injection line is missing one of four Allen Screws, could that cause electrical shortage possibly?
