Solution? 2000 Mercedes S430 with code P1747

Question

Customer brought me a vehicle with no crank, no start, after car wash. He washed engine. After washing it, he tried turning it on. Nothing. I checked it out, no clue to what was going on at first. I ended up removing starter. I bench test it, no good. Replaced it but still no crank, no start. Checked fuses, relays, power to ignition module wiring. Well long story short. I purchased the 2 engine fuse boxes with modules, replaced them. Vehicle starts. Now it has code P1747. Drives only on 1st and 2nd hear only. Help, anyone..
