I have a 2003 Dodge Dakota with check engine light and code P0344, B1. No other codes. I'm not experiencing any other signs of trouble. Battery is good. Is there a particular way to trouble shoot or should i just replace the Camshaft position sensor and go from there.

HI there

In most cases the sensor is the issue. You can check it for resistance, but if it's working it won't show a problem. I would replace it.
