If the car is off timing can it give u the code p0344

Question

I just replaced the water pump on my car an did the timing as well so I'm getting a code p0344 and p0340 so my question is can it be off timing

P0340 Camshaft position  A circuit

P0344 Camshaft position A circuit intermittent

Yes it can , but then again if your timing off it will set a P0022 which is a advance timing or a code for a retard in timing., and at a drive when coming into a slow stop the engine would buckle.
